Home Improvement - CARE - REPAIRING VENETIAN BLINDS

Repairing Venetian Blinds
If most windows in a house have venetian blinds and
they are in need of cord and/or tape replacement or
painting, money can be saved if all are sent to a
company for replacement of tapes, cords and repainting.
Price for rejuvenation will not be cheap, but will be
much less than replacing all blinds.

Local decorating shops or drapery departments carry
packaged venetian blind cord. Tape for replacement may
be ordered through catalogs or decorating shops.

If you have never used venetian blinds and have
decided to get them, you might better order them from a
decorator shop who will also install them for you rather
than from a catalog because then it is your duty to
install them yourself.
